FAQ

  • Yikes! I try my best to package everything well, but sometimes accidents happen. If something arrives broken let me know the day you receive it, please include pictures of the piece and the packaging (if the packaging is visibly damaged) in the email. Photos can help me figure out how to better pack pieces in the future.

I will work with you to find a replacement piece, or refund you if there isn’t a suitable one available.

  • I’m happy to work with you to make sets or to duplicate an existing piece. I will also work with you to make small design alterations (for a small fee to cover extra time spent on development) or use a different glaze in my palette. I cannot take on commissions that require major design and development commitments.

If you have an idea in mind please get in touch and we’ll chat about it!

  • Look, I’m going to be honest with you, modern microwaves and dishwashers are extremely hard on ceramics. All of my work, unless otherwise noted, is fired to vitrification, which means it’s as dishwasher and microwave safe as ceramics can be. I put my work in the dishwasher and microwave all the time and it’s fine, but I feel compelled to say: dishwasher and microwave use may shorten the life of your pottery.

  • Yeah, it should all be fine in the oven! As with any pottery don’t put cold bake ware into a hot oven, that may cause breakage. Instead put the bake ware into the cold oven and let it heat up with the oven.
